UNIVERSITY FENCERS WIN THIRD SUCCESSIVE DUEL

The University foilsmen won their third consecutive meet of the season Saturday in a series of flashy duels with the West Point cadets in the Military Academy gymnasium. In the epee class the University did not show up as well as in the folls: Outerbridge alone won against his epee opponent.

In the foils the University won six bouts and the Army three. In the epee only one bout went to the University and three to the Army. The total score was 7 to 6.

The summary of the matches follows:

Foils ... A.G. Carrillo '26 defeated Harris (A) 5-3 Osborne (A)5-4, and Breckenridge (A) 5-1 Howard Finney '26, defeated Osborne (A) 5-0, and Ford (A) 5-4. A. R. Allen '26, defeated Doyle (A) 5-0, Breckenridge (A) defeated Howard Finney '26, 5-1 end A. R. Allen '26, 5-2. Mayo (A) defeated A. R. Allen '26, 5-3.

Epee--R.P. Outerbridge '28, defeated Ford (A)1-0. Doyle (A) defeated Outerbridge '28, 1-0 and A. R. Allen '26, 1-0. Ford (A) defeated A. R. Allen '26, 1-0.
