Freshman Hockey Begins

The Freshman Hockey season opened officially last night with a meeting of candidates in the Smith Hall Common Room. Head Coach E. L. Bigelow '21 and Howard Slade '27, manager of the University hockey team, addressed a gathering of about 65 freshmen. The coach of the 1930 team has not as yet been chosen.

With a great many of last year's preparatory school stars on the squad a record as successful as the one turned in by last year's Freshman team does not seem out of reach.
