Brattle Hall Stage Will Be Setting for Three Nights--Appears in Boston Twice on Saturday

Owing to the illness of K. B. Smith '27, G. K. Bishop '27, is playing the part of Prince Tartaglia, and Coach Edward Massey '15, will interpret the character of the King in the Dramatic Club's fall production "The Orange Comedy", it was announced by the management yesterday.

The play will be presented at Brattle Hall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and at the Fine Arts Theatre in Boston on the afternoon and evening of Saturday, December 10.

Gozzi Wrote Original

"The Orange Comedy" is an adaptation of "The Love of the Three Oranges," an early eighteenth century Italian comedy by Carlo Gozzi. From the fantastic fairy tale of the original. Gilbert Seldes '14 has fashioned an amusing travestry on modern life and customs.

G. B. Bingham '28, who played the lead in last year's production of "Brown of Harvard," will take the leading role of Harlequin. Miss Mary Leonard, president of the Radcliffe Idlers, will play the part of the Princess, and Miss Mary Caperton, secretary of the Idlers, will interpret the character of Violetta. Many of the minor parts will be filled by actors who have played in former Dramatic Club productions.
