IN THE TIGER LAIR

Princeton, N. J., November 3. In its final practice at Princeton before the Harvard clash on Saturday, the Tiger eleven spent the whole afternoon in light, but intensive work.

The usual passing kicking and signal drill was emphasized, and the specialists received close attention from their tutors. A long dimmy scrimmage with a team of former stars putting on Harvard plays, closed the day's work.

Coach Roper declined definitely to fame his starting, eleven, and considerable doubt still exists as to just how much time the various Tiger cripples will be able to spend in active combat.

Indications today pointed to Slagel's being on the bench at the opening whistle. Roper has declared that he will play Slagle, but he would not be pinned down to picking him as a starter. The feeling in Princeton is that he will be reserved for a time when his presence will do most good, and that roper will save his star all he can for the Vale came a week.
