Hemenway Gymnasium has been renovated during the summer. The handball courts, showers, and much of the woodwork in the building have been repainted.
The bricks in the basketball court were cleaned, and the dust, accumulation of many years, was removed from the rafters.
This is the first time that the interior of the gymnasium has been renovated in over twenty years. In fact, so much white paint and varnish have been lavished on the building, that its interior is hardly recognizable.
