Rabbi Zarchi Confronted Maria Ressa, Walked Off Stage Over Her Harvard Commencement Speech
The Northeastern University soccer team engaged the University seconds in an encounter on Soldier's Field yesterday afternoon and defeated them, 3 to 0. The seconds, although putting up a stiff, fight, were out-classed, and the visitors clearly earned their victory.
Only one goal was scored in the first half, when Bury, playing right inside forward for Northeastern, took a pass from a teammate and booted the sphere through the bars. In the second half Bury scored, again, from a scrimmage in front of the goal, and Hess added a third point to his teams total late in the period.
These two scorers starred for Northeastern, while Beals played well for the University seconds.
The University team will play a practice game with the booters from Massachusetts Institute of Technology this afternoon M. I. T. has to its credit a victory over the strong Springfield eleven, with which the University played a 2 to 2 tie two weeks ago, and is rated as a powerful aggregation.
