COMPLETE 1927 FOOTBALL SLATE TO INCLUDE PURDUE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard will meet Purdue University of Lafayette, Indiana, in the second football game of the 1927 season according to an announcement made by the Harvard Athletic Association yesterday. The Purdue game completes the schedule of gridiron contests for next year.

Purdue is a member of the "Big Ten" conference, and while not habitually represented by one of the most powerful elevens in this middle western federation, is expected to provide an unusually strong team for the second game of the season.

With both Purdue and Indiana on the 1927 Crimson gridiron schedule, and Holy Cross retained, Harvard will be tackling one of the stiffest schedules that any Cambridge eleven has faced in a number of years.

The complete schedule follows:

October 1, Vermont; October 8, Purdue; October 15, Holy Cross; October 22, Dartmouth; October 29, Indiana; November 5; Princeton; November 12, Brown; November 19, Yale.
