HARVARD HARRIERS TO RACE GREEN TOMORROW

RECORD TREMBLES AS FRESHMEN STARS VIE

Preliminary to the gridiron clash with Dartmouth Saturday, the University and Freshman harriers will face the Green runners tomorrow afternoon on the Charles river course,

Harvard's chances of scoring a double victory seem particularly bright as a result of the Holy Cross meet, October 9. The Crusader teams were crushed in both events. With Captain E. C. Haggerty '27 leading a strong line-up, the University runners should make an impressive showing against the hitherto untested Dartmouth team. Last year, the Crimson won by the narrow margin of one point. The Crimson runners will probably be: E. C. Haggerty '27, E. B. Boyee '27, Leslie Flaksman '29, Edward Gordon '27, H. M. Kullman '27, L. J. Novograd '27, J. W. Reid '29, G. L. Stebbins '28, A. S. Woodworth '29, and W. B. King '27.

The Freshmen have a very strong team this year with W. G. Dooley '30, Gleason Lee '30, and E. W. Thurber '30, all runners with preparatory school reputations on the squad. Dooley and Lee finished in a dead heat for first place in the Holy Cross meet.

The Dartmouth 1930 runners on the other hand have D. G. Ferguson, a for-men Exeter track captain and helder of the Dartmouth three mile cross country record, and William Parry, another experienced runner, in their line-up. This Freshman event promises a hard race, with possibly a new record for the distance.
