$10,000 A YEAR FOR TRAFFIC STUDY GIVEN BY STUDEBAKER

The University has been given $10,000 per year for two years by the Studebaker Corporation as a fund for research into the best methods of regulating street traffic, it was announced last night.

By vote of the Corporation there has been established the Albert Russell Erskine Bureau for Street, Traffic Research, with quarters on the top floor of the Widener Memorial Library.

Dr. Miller McClintock, who received his Ph. D from Harvard two years ago, has been appointed director of this bureau and will have immediate supervision of its work. He is the best known street traffic expert in the United tates, and is the author of a standard work on traffic problems.
