RUNNERS GO TO VIRGINIA INSTEAD OF PENN RELAYS

The University track team will not include the Pennsylvania relays on its spring schedule, it was definitely announced by the track management last night.

The date of Pennsylvania relays, April 26, comes at a time when the team will be holding its first meet of the spring season. The two oldest colleges, the University and William and Mary, will join Washington and Lee University in a triangular meet at Williamsburg, Va. The track team has been invited to spend the Easter vacation at William and Mary.

"Another reason for this action, Coach Merrill said, "is the proximity of the Yale and Princeton meets, which are to be held in mid-spring. The relays have always brought the team to a pitch too early in the season."
