DISTINGUISHED FRENCH NOBLE LECTURES AT FOGG MUSEUM

The Duc de Trevise, a noted French art collector and connoisseur, will give an illustrated lecture in French at Fogg Museum this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The subject of the lecture is "Three Sculptors of the Nineteenth Century--Rodin, Rude and Carpeaux." The lecture will be open to the public and no tickets will be required for admission.

On Saturday, January 2, the Duc de Trevise discussed ancient monuments of France before the Alliance Francaise in Boston.

The Duc de Trevise is president of a famous art society organized under the patronage of the President of the French Republic in June, 1921. The society is called "La Sauvegarde de L'Art Francais" and its object is to assist in the protection of public art treasures in France.

The Due de Trevise has gathered a splendid collection of art treasures which is especially notable for its valuable paintings by Gericault, a painter of the early nineteenth century who is best remembered for his magnificent "Le Radeau de la Meduse" (1819) and for his earlier military paintings.
