COACH MITCHELL TO HAVE AID OF DAVIDSON AND LAKE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coaches Claude Davidson and Fred Lake, who tutored the Freshman and second University nines last spring have again been appointed by the Harvard Athletic Association to assist Head Coach Mitchell during the coming baseball season, it was announced yesterday. Both diamond mentors turned out successful teams last season and are familiar with the methods of Coach Mitchell.

Coach Lake was manager of the Boston Red Sox in 1907 and 1908 and has been connected with the Braves in the capacity of coach and scout at various times. Last year his second University squad defeated the Eli seconds by a 7 to 6 score. He will aid Coaches Mitchell and Davidson with the first year men, who will be called out February 10, two weeks before the first University practice.
