ONE MESTROVIC DRAWING TO BE KEPT AT FOGG MUSEUM

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Fogg Art Museum has acquired for its permanent collection one of the drawings by Ivan Mestrovic which have been on exhibition in the print room of the museum for the past three weeks.

The drawing is entitled "A Woman at Prayer" and is considered by connoisseurs to be one of the best the artist has yet produced. It was through the courtesy of the "Friends of the Fogg Art Museum," who have made possible the acquisition of many of the finest pieces in the Museum, that this drawing was obtained.

The sculpture pieces and the drawings which have been loaned by the artist himself will remain on exhibition only until the middle of this week. It is believed that this collection, which includes the marble portrait statue of Mestrovic's mother, the bronzed plaster "Memories" and two wood carvings in bas relief, will be put on exhibition elsewhere in this country.
