8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
A marked increase in the sales, membership, and stock of the Harvard Co-operative Society is shown in the report of the Directors for the second half of the fiscal year 1925.
On December 31, 1925, the Coop had 7550 members at the Harvard store, an increase of 824 members. The increase in past years has always been about five percent, but jumped to 16 percent this year. This is attributed to the erection of the new building.
The total stock on December 21, 1925, amounted to $154,000 as against $134,000 the year before. This, increase is due to new departments and new lines of merchandise in old departments.
The sales for the six months at the Harvard store were $483,920, an increase of 16 percent over the same period of the year before.
