8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
With the Freshman class now established in Cambridge, the work of the proctors will begin. From now on the proctors in the Freshman dormitories will be in their rooms every evening, and will be ready to welcome and assist the Freshmen under their supervision.
The duties of the proctors and the residents in the various Freshman halls has become increasingly less disciplinary and more advisory. The policy of the University in selecting for the positions young men who have recently graduated, and especially those who in College played a more or less active part in undergraduate affairs, has brought about this change. Any advice or information that a new student may desire, is to be found on application to his proctor.
