CRIMSON TENNIS CAPTAIN WINS IN STATE TOURNEY

W. W. Ingraham '25, captain of the University tennis team, won his way to the fifth round of the Massachusetts State tournament yesterday by defeating W. I. Badger Jr. L. '16 in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. The only other members of the Crimson in the tournament was eliminated yesterday when Alden Briggs '25, after winning from T. O. Kingsbury 6-3, 6-2 in his second round match, bowed to R. A. Bidwell '99 in a close battle, 6-3, 7-5.

A match of University interest that is scheduled for this afternoon will take place between Ingraham and N. W. Niles '09.
