It was learned yesterday at Soldiers Field that Miller, star University sprinter, would definitely run in the Yale track meet on June 15 unless the condition of his injured leg should become worse. A report after practice last Saturday had announced the probability that he would not compete on account of again pulling the tendon injured in winning the 100-yard dash against Princeton.
On Monday Miller tried a few starts on the track and appeared in better condition than had been expected. Yesterday's workout proved him fit to run against the Eli, although his injury will probably handicap him. According to Coach Farrell Miller has a "good fighting chance" of defeating Norton, champion Yale point-winner, next Monday if he is in good condition.
