Coach Lake's second baseball team lost the first game of its 1925 season to the Exeter nine at Exeter on Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-0. Although reinforced by a contingent of first team men dropped in the last cut, the seconds were not a match for the heavy hitting schoolboy batters.

Loud, pitching for Exeter, proved consistently baffling to the University batsmen, turning away 12 men on strikes, and giving but three scattered safeties.
