The University lacrosse team defeated Union at Schenectady last Saturday by the score of 5 to 4.

The game was exceedingly close and was marked by the excellence of the University defence men, who had gained several points while under the direction of Coach Cox of Syracuse. The University made the first goal, Union second, and the score seesawed from one to the other until the University made two goals in rapid succession just before the end of the game, leaving the final score 5 to 4.
