PROFESSOR WAMBAUGH GETS OVATION FROM LAW SCHOOL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday morning the faculty and students of the University Law School united in an impressive tribute to Professor Eugene Wambaugh '76 on the occasion of the last meeting of his class in Constitutional Law.

Professor Wambaugh, who will retire from active work and become professor emeritus at the close of the college year, has taught for 33 years in the Law School. During this period he has devoted more time exclusively to teaching than any other member of the Law School faculty.

The third year class presented Dr. Wambaugh with a rare first edition copy of Marshall's "Life of Washington" and the second year class gave him a silver bowl. A. E. Sutherland 3L, Marshal of the third year class, and L. C. Boisliniere '24, spoke in behalf of the students, and Professor Wambaugh replied with a short speech of thanks.
