TENNIS TEAM TO PLAY PRINCETON HERE TODAY

Orange and Black Netmen Promise Stiff Opposition--University Players Have Shown Unusual Prowess

A gruelling contest is promised for this afternoon when the tennis racquets of the University and Princeton clash on the Divinity courts at 2.30 o'clock. The Tigers bring a strong combination to Cambridge, which has only been defeated by Yale.

The University tennis team has shown unusual promise and prowess this year. On their southern trip during the Spring vacation they vanquished all their opponents with but little difficulty. Since then Williams, Technology, and Columbia have been beaten, and the team has secured a great deal more practice, Progress has been especially noted in the smoother functioning of the three doubles combinations.

Princeton will play today considerably handicapped by the inability of Captain Paton to participate. Though Hynson has been the regular No. 1 man so far this season, Captain Paton's steady and effective stroking game has always been one of the team's salient features.
