A home run, a double and a single in four times at bat was the contribution of Cordingley to the 17 to 3 victory scored by the Second team over the Bridgewater Normal School nine yesterday afternoon on the Freshman diamond. Not only did he score three runs and drive in three more, but he let down the Normal School batters with five hits and three runs. Coach Lake's batters went on a rampage with their bats, collecting 17 hits. Cordingley retired 11 men via the strike-out route and after the first inning, the Seconds played an almost air-tight game in the field.
