GOVERNOR SIGNS BILL FOR FOOTBRIDGE OVER CHARLES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

During the last hectic hours of the State legislature's life, scheduled to end last night, Governor Fuller found time to sign the bill sanctioning the construction of a footbridge across the Charles River from the foot of De Wolf Street to the newly cleared land on the south bank.

Dean W. B. Donham '98, of the Business School, who was instrumental in securing the passage of the bill, declared last night that he was most gratified at the outcome of the matter. Because of a trip of two weeks which he is about to make, the Dean will be prevented from announcing the bridge plans within the next fortnight.
