The following men were retained in the trials last night for the debate on May 2 with Columbia and Pennsylvania, laurence Dimsdale '26, M. N. Drake '28, W. P. Exton Jr. '26,I. J. Fain '27, S. B. McGavran '28, E. J. Metzdorf '26, George Staff '26, and J. E. Stocker '26.
So few seniors were present owing to divisional examinations that another trial is to be held tomorrow night at which seniors have been urged to be present. The trials will be held in 6 Harvard Hall at 7 o'clock. Contestants may prepare five-minute speeches on other side of the subject, "Resolved, That Capital Punishment Be Abolished."
