The prospect of at least a temporary suspension of Major Moore's passing game, which has occupied the spring football candidates at Soliders Field so far, was revealed yesterday afternoon when Coach Fisher decided that more room than is provided by the field equipped for the game will be needed to enable practice to be carried on most effectively. Although the head coach, on his second visit, was satisfied with the progress which the meir have been making, he has decided that, with the increasing size of the squad, a larger field will be necessary. As soon as the Freshman baseball squad is able, to begin practice on its own diamond the football men will move out on to the field which it is now using.
In the absence of Captain Cheek and on account of the rather muddy ground no regular game was held yesterday. Coach Fisher put the men through a passing drill, and some touch football followed by track work around the Stadium.
