FOOTBRIDGE TO BUSINESS SCHOOL MAY SPAN CHARLES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A new bridge may span the Charles, if the state legislature passes a bill which was reported favorably on Thursday by the committee on metropolitan affairs. An unidentified donor, graduate of the University, has offered to finance a footbridge between Plympton Street and the new School of Business Administration.

Dean Wallace B. Donham '78 of the Business School told the committee that the donor will guarantee the funds upon the passage of the bill by the legislature. It is estimated that the footbridge will cost approximately $120,000.
