The Freshmen succeeded in scoring three referee's decisions against an exceptionally strong team, but succumbed 19 to 9. The feature of this match was provided by Spellman in the 175-pound class when he gained a decision over Captain Howe of Harvard, who out-weighed him by 14 pounds.
