In a four-period practice game yesterday the University polo team defeated the 110th Cavalry 10 to 3. White starred at number two for the University, scoring five of the ten points. Shaw accounted for three more and Pinkerton for the remaining two.

In the first league match of the season the University was swamped by the 110th Cavalry 12 to 3 1-2, but yesterday the improvement of the Harvard team was manifest.
