MITCHELL OFF FOR FLORIDA ON HURRY CALL FROM BRAVES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The baseball squad will be without the services of Fred Mitchell, battery coach, for three or four weeks, it became known yesterday. Mitchell is business manager and scout for the Boston Braves, and he has received a hurry call from the Braves' training camp at St. Petersburg, Florida.

He will put in a few weeks drilling the major league pitchers, but has promised Major F. W. Moore '93 that he will return as near April 1 as possible. He has further agreed to put in more time later in the season to make up for his absence now. He will leave for Florida tonight.
