59 FRESHMEN RESPOND TO CALL FOR BASEBALL NINE

Work Begins Monday -- Only Four Catchers Sign Up

At the meeting last night for Freshman baseball candidates, 59 men handed in their names. Of these only four are catchers.

The meeting was addressed by Captain Hammond of the University team, T. J. Campbell '12. Assistant Graduate Treasurer of the H. A. A., C. B. Davidson, coach of the Freshman team, and by E. W. Mahan '16, coach of the University team.

It was announced that practice for the Freshmen would begin next Monday, March 9.
