HORSEMEN GAIN SECOND PLACE IN POLO LEAGUE

Defeat 101st Artillery in Brilliant Exhibition in Commonwealth Armory Saturday--Score Is 14 to 3

The University polo team triumphed over the 101st Artillery 14 to 3 in a fast game at the Commonwealth Armory Saturday night. Some of the best polo ever seen at Harvard was displayed by both sides, according to a statement made unofficially by Captain S. F. Clark. University Polo Coach. In spite of the high score, the victory was hard-fought throughout.

This match gives Harvard second place in the Boston Polo League, in which the 110th Cavalry finished number one. The team will enter the Intercollegiate Tournament held in the Squadron A Armory. New York, and later in the spring will go into the open air tournaments around Boston.
