FISHER PRESCRIBES RUNNING AT ONCE FOR FOOTBALL MEN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the last of the bi-weekly football meetings held last night in the Varsity Club, 150 candidates for next year's team were present to hear Coach Fisher describe his plans for spring training.

Spring practice for all football men will begin on April 27 and continue for an indefinite period. Until that time all those men who reported last night will run every day under the direction of Coach Farrell.

If even 100 of the men turn out for spring practice a new record will be made. Coach Fisher expects all of the 150, however, for at least part time. The backfield men have been ordered to report immediately to carry on light practice until the spring practice begins officially on April 27. This will consist in kicking and passing the ball every afternoon.
