NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The officers of the class of 1928 announced last night the chairmen of the committees on entertainment and finance, and the chairmen of the several committees of the Red Book. The complete personnel of all Freshman committees will be announced at an early date.

James Lawrence Pool of New York City has been appointed chairman of the finance committee, and William Barksdale Jones of Vaughan, Miss., will head the entertainment committee.

For the various committees of the Red Book the class officers have made the following appointments: chairman of the editorial board. Thomas Hopkinson Eliot of Cambridge; sub-chairman of the editorial board, Barrett Williams of Boston; chairman of the photographic board, Carl Howard Pforzheimer of Purchase, N. Y.; chairman of the art board, Peter Houston Kilham of Boston: and chairman of the business board, Langdon Dearborn of Havana, Cuba.

The 1928-officers have instituted a new method of collections for the finance committee. Last year the secretary-treasurer of the class ran a competition in which each candidate for the finance committee chairmanships secured as much money as he could. As a consequence many members of the class were approached frequently, some not at all. It is proposed that the chairman shall this year appoint sub-chairmen for the finance committee. They in turn will select representatives for each entry in the dormitories.
