For the first time in its 79 years of dramatic production, the Hasty Pudding Club is planning to devote a large part of the proceeds of "Laugh It Off", its spring production, to benefits.
The itinerary for the spring trip of "Laugh It Off", includes four benefit performances. The first of these will be given in Newark, New Jersey, at Proctor's Theatre Roof on April 21 for the Princeton Triangle Club Theatre Fund.
Newark Showing for Triangle Club
In return for the courtesy of the Triangle Club, which gave a performance in Boston last December for the benefit of the Harvard Endowment Fund, the Hasty Pudding Club has voted to give the entire proceeds of its Newark performance to the building fund of the Triangle Club, which has for a number of years been producing musical comedies without a theatre of its own.
The three remaining benefit performances will be those in New York in the Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel on April 24 and April 25. A large part of the proceeds of each of these presentations will be added to the fund which is now being raised in order to permit the completion of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
Tickets for all performances may be ordered by application to J. A. Halsted '26. Any undergraduate may apply, and the orders, which must be paid for in advance will be filled in order of receipt. The price of the tickets is $3.30.
