YALE FRESHMAN FIVE HERE FOR GAME TONIGHT

CAPTAIN MUMBY IS BRIGHT STAR OF ELI QUINTET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

As a fitting climax to its successful season the Freshman Basketball team will oppose the powerful Yale Freshman quintet this evening at 7.15 o'clock in the Freshman Athletic Building. A very limited supply of tickets at 50 cents each will be on sale at the door by seven o'clock tonight.

Coach Drohan To Use Same Line-up

The Crimson line-up tonight will be the same as has started almost every other game of the season. McCurdy will surely see action at center, replacing Green, while Ootbout at guard is another man whom Coach Drohan will probably call upon before the final whistle. Slocum, whose remarkable shooting featured the Exeter game, is counted upon to be the leading scorer for the Crimson. Captain Baldwin's floor work should also be an important factor in deciding the outcome of the game.

Yale Quintet is Formidable

In the Yale team which takes the floor tonight, the Crimson will find the stiffest opposition of the season. Although the visitors met defeat in the two first games of their schedule, they have since then shown remarkable improvement, not allowing a single other defeat to mar their almost perfect record. Captain Mumby is the high scorer for the Blue, but will find stiff opposition from Barbee, the Crimson guard whom he faces tonight.

Comparative Scores Favor Blue

From comparison of their respective scores, the two rival teams are very evenly matched, with perhaps a slight edge on the side of Yale. The two teams have faced but one common opponent, Andover, who defeated the Crimson by a close score, but were decisively beaten by Yale. Both teams have lost two games, Yale having fallen before Dewitt Clinton and Peddle, while the Crimson succumbed to the attack of Andover and Hebron Academy.

In order to avoid any chance of overcrowding the limited floor-space of the Freshman Athletic Building, the authorities have decided to sell reserved seats.
