PROFESSOR CHAFEE TO TALK TO LAW STUDENTS TOMORROW

Will Give Lecture on "The Influence of the Church on Equity"

Professor Zechariah Chafee, Professor of Law at the University, will speak at 12.10 tomorrow at the eighth meeting of the series of addresses on "Religion and the Law," held at the Parish Church in Cambridge.

Professor Chafee will take as his subject "The Influence of the Church on Equity."

Professor Chafee, who took the degree of LL.B. at the University in 1913, has been in the Harvard law faculty since 1916 and is well known as a lecturer on law.

He is a member of the Cambridge Legal Advisory Board and was one of the 12 lawyers reporting on the illegal activities of the Department of Justice, in 1920. He is a member of the American Philogical Association and a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. As an author, Professor Chafee is known for his "Cases on Negotiable Instruments," "Freedom of Speech," and "Cases on Equitable Relief against Torts."
