Trials for the Freshman debating team will be held in Smith Halls Common Room tonight at 7 o'clock. This meeting which is in charge of F. R. Bowman, former secretary of the Debating Council, is open to all members of the Freshman class.
The subject for the trials is "Be It Resolved, That the Eastern States Should Establish State Universities." Every one trying out will be expected to prepare a five minute speech on either side of the question.
