The University polo team met defeat by the score of 10 to 9 Saturday night at the hands of the Norfolk team in a polo league match at the Commonwealth Armory.

The Norfolk poloists scored first and were never headed. The Crimson horsemen rallied in the last period, but the whistle sounded with them still one point behind their opponents.

After the game Robert Allen Pinkerton '27 of New York City was elected captain of the team to succeed G. E. Kent '25 who graduated at mid-years.
