The 1928 quintet easily defeated St. George's School at Newport on Saturday 47 to 32, in a loosely played game.
The Crimson first year men started slowly and led only 9 to 7 at the end of the first quarter. Captain Baldwin and Slocum substituted for Pusey and Cozzens during the second period, and bombarded the school boy's goal for the next ten minutes, bringing the freshman total up to 28.
With ten minutes to play in the second half the freshmen slackened their defense with the score 38 to 17, so that the school boys brought their total up to 32 before the end of the game.
