Competitions for Second Assistant and Freshman Managerships to Begin

The Sophomore competition for the second assistant managership of the University baseball team will begin on March 9. The competition will last for a little more than five weeks and the winner will accompany the team on its southern trip during the spring vacation. The runner up in the competition will become assistant manager of the second team and succeed to the managership in his Junior year. He will conduct the Freshmen on their Connecticut trip in May.

A competition of Freshmen for the managership of the 1928 team will be called out on Monday, March 13. It will last approximately seven weeks, the winner being announced one week before the Freshman game with Yale. The two highest men will take charge of the Yale game as manager and assistant manager and both will receive their class numerals.
