From Buffalo comes the reassuring news that the Harvard squash team has won the national championship. The title was hotly contested, making the honor so much the greater.

Of all Harvard sports squash is perhaps the most representative. Success in it reflects the enthusiasm, which it has engendered throughout the University, an enthusiasm, bred of widespread participation in the sport. A championship team is, therefore, no accident.

The squash team and its captain deserve congratulation. They have crowned a successful season with the highest possible honors. Captain Dixon in particular is to be congratulated in that he has added to his capable leadership the achievement of the national individual championship.
