STUDENT COUNCIL TO HEAR COMMITTEE REPORTS TONIGHT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Proposed changes in the method of electing Marshals of the Senior Class will be brought before a meeting of the Student Council at 7.15 o'clock tonight in the Faculty Room of University Hall. The need for radical changes in the present system has been felt all year, but through lack of adequate suggestions the Council has been obliged to postpone any action until now. A committee headed by J. J. Maher '26, President of the Junior Class, was appointed last December to work on the matter and will report to night.

Reports are also due from two other committees, one of which has been investigating the methods of selecting cheer leaders on a competitive basis. Members of the Council feel that in this way better results may be obtained. The other committee, headed by D. B. Fleming '25, will report on the advisability of instituting the honor system in examinations as employed by other colleges.

As usual, the Council will permit all undergraduates to take part in the discussion during the first part of the meeting.
