Aspiring musicians will be given a chance to join the University Instrumental Clubs when the Mid-year trials are held this evening between 7 and 8 o'clock in Room 1 of the Music Building.
The Clubs want men who are proficient with two or more instruments, especially with the banjo and mandolin. Talented singers are also greatly in demand, and will be given a chance to show their ability.
The success of A. H. Stafford '26, whose sleight of hand tricks have been a great success at concerts this season, has caused the clubs to be on the lookout for a man with a specialty vaudeville act which will add to the variety of their performances. A good sleight of hand trickster or an expert juggler is especially what the clubs are looking for.
Those men retained after the trials will have an opportunity to take part in the concerts which will be given during the spring. Among these are one scheduled for March 5 at the Union and one at New Bedford on March 20.
