TRIO OF SPEAKERS OFFERED BY P.B.H.

Three distinguished men will mount the platform of Peabody Hall, Phillips Brooks House, during the next two weeks, Professor C.T. Copeland '89, Roger W. Babson, famous statistician, and Dr. Wilfred T. Grenfell, for many years medical missionary in. Labrador and Newfoundland, are speakers scheduled to talk under the auspices of the Christian Association.

Next Wednesday evening Professor Copeland will read selections from the Bible and will speak briefly. Last year Professor Copeland was forced to cancel his annual December reading on account of illness, and his appearance at Phillips Brooks House next week will be eagerly awaited.

Babson Heads Statistical Bureau

Roger W. Babson will speak on "Six 1's of Success" on December 11, Mr. Babson is a director of a large number of Power and Land Companies, and is President of Babson's Statistical Organization at Wellesley Hills. During the war he was appointed director general of information and education by the United States Government.

Mr. Babson's versatility and wide knowledge is shown by the "Future Series," of which he is the author. In these books he deals with the future of the working classes, the method of investing money, churches, railroads, nations, world peace, and South America. His fame as a lecturer and writer on business questions is widespread.

Dr. Grenfell holds Harvard Degree

"Thirty Years Among the Labrador Fishermen" will be Dr. Grenfell's subject when he speaks on December 16. Dr. Grenfell, who received an honorary degree of Master of Arts from the University in 1909, has worked for many years in the bleak fishing towns of Labrador and northern Newfoundland coasts. An Englishman by birth, he attended London and Oxford Universities, and started his career as a medical missionary in 1887. Many Harvard students have spent summers working with the Grenfell Mission.

Before each of the three meetings, the Christian Association will hold dinners for the speakers. All former workers in the Grenfell Mission who are now students in the University will be invited to the dinner for Dr. Grenfell on December 16.
