R. S. Wright '26 defeated J. L. Pool '28 yesterday in the final round of the Union Squash Tournament in Class A.
The championship was won by a narrow margin. The sophomore contender for the title played a brilliant game throughout the match and won two games out of five by the scores of 15 to 11 and 17 to 16. Wright, however, who is in the first position in Class A and who defeated Callanan of the Harvard Club last Saturday in one of the hardest fought matches of the year, was more consistent and finally won the necessary three games by the scores 17 to 15, 15 to 11, and 15 to 7. Wright will be awarded the Union Championship for this fall.
