After a nine weeks competition for Freshman manager of the University Instrumental Clubs, Alfred Townsend Hartwell '29 of Honolulu, Hawaii, was elected manager, and Henry Lewis '29 of New York City, assistant manager. Hartwell prepared at Andover and will automatically become manager of the clubs in his senior year. Lewis prepared at St. Paul's.
