Tonight at 8 o'clock, the first of this year's William Beldon Noble Lectures will be given in Emerson D.

Reverend Henry D. A. Major, Principal of Ripon Hall, Oxford, England will be the speaker, and his subject has been announced as "English Modernism its Origin, Aims, and Methods."

Mr. Major will lecture six times on various phases of this subject, his lectures coming on Tuesday and Friday evenings during the first three weeks in December.

The lectures are open to the public.
