Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Eight Juniors and 22 Seniors will be tentatively elected to Phi Beta Kappa on Monday, according to an announcement made yesterday by P. E. Mosely '26, undergraduate Secretary-Treasurer of the Society.
On November 16, following a meeting of the present eight Senior members with the graduate committee, the names of the men whose election has been ratified by the graduates, will be announced.
Men Elected By Senior Members
Voting on Monday will be done by the five Senior members now resident in Cambridge, three of last year's Junior eight having graduated and left the University last spring. Elections to the Society are based on intellectual accomplishment, both grades and outside activities requiring mental excellence being taken into consideration. This year, for the first time, reports from tutors will also figure in the final selection of candidates. This development is very much in line with President Lowell's wish to make the tutorial work of more importance.
Members from Two Classes
On Monday, eight Juniors from the 12 ranking members of the class, and 22 of the leading 44 students from the graduating class will be chosen for Phi Beta Kappa honors.
In determining the standing of Junior candidates, the nine highest grades will alone be counted, while for the Seniors only the 13 highest grades will be taken.
