HOMELESS YALE SKATERS TO USE SPRINGFIELD RINK

New Haven, Conn., November 4, 1925--The Yale University Athletic Association has announced that, because of the indefinite postponement of the opening of the new Hockey Arena, plans have been made to have the hockey team practice in the Springfield rink, one of the buildings of the Eastern States Exposition.

Since the burning of the Arena is 1924, the Blue team has been without a permanent home. Arrangements were made last summer for a practice site at Springfield for use two of three times a week and for the playing of several games there. It will, however, be necessary to re-arrange the schedule, according to the announcement made today by H. F. Woodcook, General Manager of the Yale Athletic Association.

Some of the games originally scheduled will in all probability be played in new Madison Square Garden in New York. One, and possibly two of the Princeton games will be players there, while one of the Harvard contests may also be fought out in Tex Richard's new plant.
