PETITIONS ADD FIVE NAMES TO 1929 DORMITORY BALLOTS

Five new candidates have been nominated by petition for places on the Freshman Dormitory Committees, it was announced last night by the Student Council Committee on Freshman Affairs.

In Standish Hall, C. M. Churchill and S. G. Hardy have been added to the list of nominees. R. H. O'Connell and M. D. Soutter have been nominated for the Smith Halls Committee. To the Gore Hall list, the name of W. W. McAdams was added.

The election, which was announced to take place November 10, will be held instead on Wednesday, November 11. The polls will be open in the three major dormitories from noon to 2 o'clock and again from 5.30 o'clock to 7 o'clock.
